Grantarctica; the frozen wasteland where they say the evil Granta Clause lives. The temperature there drops far below zero, and the icy water will cause death to anyone who treads in it. The ground is so compact, frozen, and hard, not even the strongest of tools can break it...

In this map, we finally have brought the epic stories of Grantarctica to life. Towering over you is the most gigrantic mountain in all of Grantarctica, Mount Mythos. Frozen ice floes are the only thing that keep you afloat in this barren wasteland. One false jump, and you will land directly on thin ice, which more than likely, will break. Half-frozen rivers now guard the inner sanctum, where the flag awaits. Tunnels lead to minimal safety, until you meet your adversaries on the other side. Some believe that somewhere deep in the mountain, Granta Clause is watching you...

The only photographer ever to climb the mountain vanished randomly, but he forgot to snatch his pictures. The only ones that were not completely destroyed are here:

Overview of the ice floe jumping course.

View of the red team's side of the gigrantic mountain.

View of the blue team's flag room.

The opening of one of the tunnel systems.

One of two blue team spawns.

Op lounge gag and Granta Clause's stalk-o-vision television.

And of course, grantastic gift wrapped TNT.

Our top scientists and engineers, led by Dr. Thymos and GrantaClause, have attempted to recreate this mountain with the help of SparklyMuffinz, to try to figure out its weaknesses for when we siege Mount Mythos. The best representation of it can be found in their Mediafire lab, located here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?mdwkg6iuyh4dk38.

The legend of Mount Mythos is a long one, but a very epic piece of literature it is. If you wish to learn more about Mount Mythos and hear this tale, please read the next post.
-Water will kill you when you step on it, either by hypothermia or skating on thin ice.
-This map is a no-build map.
-Credit goes to Thymos and GrantaClause, with the assistance of the lovely SparklyMuffinz.
-If possible, reaching the top area of the mountain will kill you by being abducted by GrantaClause. If not possible, the map needs to be edited to make the people not be able to climb the mountain.
-If possible to add the texture pack to the map, it is here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?mjn344r85kw5r5f .

It was a cold, snowy day in Grantarctica. The Grantelopes were frolicking, the Granteaters were searching for Granthills in the never-ending snow, and the Grantdroids were working hard as usual. But all was not peaceful in Grantarctica. Two rival GrAnti-Santa groups--comprised of exactly 15 Grantdroids each and both assigned a color, red or blue--were hard at work in little niches carved into the sides of a gigrantic mountain--Mount Mythos--overlooking the semi-frozen ocean. Simultaneously, both the reds and the blues received communications from Granta himself, explaining how there was a secret third group--purple--seeking to undermine them, working from a secret but posh base in the middle of that very mountain. And to make it worse, each's rival had acquired a map to the purple base--the reds were told the blues had hidden the map in a piece of cloth disguised as a blue flag, and the blues vice-versa. The red group acted first, sending out one of its members to infiltrate the blue base and steal this flag. Running out of the coal-filled cavern into the blistering cold, this red Grantdroid--coincidentally named Whymos--ran and jumped from ice floe to ice floe, seeking the entrance to a well-known cave which cut right through the mountain. Finally finding it, he rushed past the multitude of coal veins, wary of any blue-placed traps. Jumping across even more ice floes, he spied the entrance to the blue flagroom and snuck in, eliminating the outside guard with a well-aimed laser shot. Grabbing the flag amidst a slew of rival blue Grantdroids, he rushed back out to the ice floes, dodging pistol shots and explosions of every sort, from rockets to mortars to suspicious-looking presents probably filled with TNT. Jumping across the ice floes once again, he experienced a horrible but brief feeling of terror as he barely missed one, landing on water-like thin ice. The last thing this Grantdroid heard (with his high-tech "ears," of course) was an ear-piercing crack as he plunged into the deadly, freezing ocean, short-circuiting immediately as a blue Grantdroid quickly took back the flag.

Meanwhile, from his posh little base in the middle of the mountain, Granta himself (along with a mysterious character named Thymos) watched from his "stalk-o-vision" television and chuckled to himself, amused by his latest grantics, this evil trickery. This was just grantastic entertainment.

Of course neither flag actually had a map, but the Grantdroids would never know that. As more were manufactured for either group, the reds and the blues would be forced to fight for a very long time indeed, each trying to steal those evil flags.

Looks Like a pretty cool map only one question: If you go in the caves can you then go under the water to the other side of the map?
I'm not quite sure what you're asking here, but it's not possible to climb the mountain so the only way to the other side is through the caves.

Super, going underwater will kill you, however, all caves but the spawns and the flag room lead to the other side of the map.

What I meant was is there a cave system under water to go to the other side cause I thought you had to walk over the ice
