A&T Map Suggestion Thread

With a slightly changed system, but the same basic idea behind it.

For the time being, we need your help: Over the last year the amount of wonderful custom MC maps has grown exponentially. There's way too many by now to keep an overview and go through them all to select the ones we want to use when opening the server.

Thus, we introduce the A&T Suggestion Initiative (ATSI).​

Please suggest maps you would like to see / play by using the following format (one per post, doubleposting allowed)​

Why should this map be added: ​

Some very important infos:​

​

- Please make sure the map runs on MC 1.7+ / is compatible. Especially old maps from the pre 1.5 era can be problematic​

- If the map has a scoreboard / counter (those things at the side showing deaths, and so on) it will not show/work on the server. Bukkit cannot show scoreboards that were made in a vanilla map.​

- Command Blocks can be problematic. We will have to test maps that use many command blocks to see if they work. So if you suggest a map using them, it might be that it simply doesn'tr work :D​

- Some maps already say in the description that they won't work on Bukkit (e.g. Hypixels Herobrine Mansion), so try not to suggest them.​

There is no guarantee we will add every suggested map (some quality and other criteria apply), but that will mostly be due to them e.g. not working properly.​

Type: Adventure + Puzzle

Why should this map be added: This map is a good mix of Puzzle and Adventure. It has a minor plot but I think it would be great fun to play with multiple friends. It does use quite a few command blocks, though.

Why it should get added: It's the ultimate parkour map, in my opinion. I've played it a few months ago with some friends and although we cheated and didn't complete even half of them, I knew this was one of the best parkour maps I had ever played. It has a lot of levels, it looks amazing, and it's pretty hard as well! Should be compatible with the current version of minecraft as well, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't contain any command blocks.

Why it should get added: It's awesome. Honestly, just about any map created by minecraftpg5 is awesome. This one's pretty short, but I definitely think it's entertaining to play.

Why it should get added: A unique and fun minigame. It's one of those games in which you just want to keep trying until you beat your score- would be really fun with some kind of time system.

That could work, and possibly go under a "theme-park" name, as there were a few maps that consisted of multiple games.

Why should this map be added: Dungeon Runner is an exceptional parkour. It does not differ from the parkour concept, but out of all the parkours I've played, Dungeon Runner is definitely the most difficult and a true test to those trying parkour. The scenery is good, as is the level design, and it's designed to be a real challenge.

Why this map should be added: It is a unique defensive pvp map, that is different from the usual puzzle maps.

Why should this map be added: It's a race against other players to retrieve blocks in the map and return them to the respective areas. Although, I think that vines should be taken out of this map.

Why should this map be added: I have definetly played a solid amount of single player maps, and this is the best parkour map I've seen. Well executed with tons of challenges varying from uber-easy-noobtastic to -amg-superxtreme-wtf-hard. This map is and should remain a classic. ALSO: The fact that it has a time-trial system incorporated into it already should make it easy to set up a high-score system.

Just going to say, that Super Hostile 10 takes hours. And by hours, I mean varying from 5-15 hours, depending on how efficient you are, and I think it would be a bit too long.

Why Should This Map be Added: It's a classic. Haven't you heard of it? If you haven't: the map is a square, split into 4 quadrants by The Walls (made of sand). Each is identical, and players are either in teams of one or two. They have 15 minutes to prepare, then The Walls fall. Instantly PvP epicness ensues until there is one winner.

Why should this map be added: It is a defend/attack style game, much like king of the hill. It requires you to gather materials from checkpoints, coordinate attacks, and overtake your opponent's base.

Why should this map be added: It's was pretty interesting to play because you get to be upside down in a map just to get to another point. It was quick and easy, but I think that I cheated.
