[BCOLOR=transparent]JIM is a tiny island in the middle of a small ocean. In its current state—anyway. It will be much more than that. Currently it has an altar with an enchantment table, a vault and many houses. The island has already been artificially extended to support more houses (and will be even more in the future). It also has a treehouse. Nearby is also the beginnings of one of our great projects, the Pits of Doom.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Why should your settlement be a city?[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]We are an extremely ambitious city, planning to be an empire. We have many very dedicated, very active members (some people from the ontime top: Velzerat, lizthehedgehog, _aperson155_). At the same time, we try to be inclusive, and we don’t require all of our members to be super active. We aren’t super strict, we aren’t telling people what to do or what to build, but at the same time we [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]do [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]have some rules in place to make sure the city looks nice.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]Our ambition is noticeable in our plans. We don’t just want to build a city, we want to make a multi-dimensional empire. This means building on the island, expanding the island (which has already begun), potentially building more islands. But we want to do far more than that—which is where the multi-dimensional part comes in--: we’ll also be expanding underwater (with structures and houses, mostly made out of glass), underground (for houses but also tree farms etc), in trees (treehouses) and in the sky (sky islands).[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]We also want to make [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]great projects[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=transparent]. Big, ambitious works that showcase what JIM is. For example, one of those great projects has already begun: The Pits of Doom, a gigantic pit all the way to bedrock near the island which will later be decorated. Expect more projects like this to follow.[/BCOLOR]
[BCOLOR=transparent]We have already begun work on an underground railroad, and we plan on making sure that everything will be very tightly connected together. This means all our parts, so that you would easily be able to go from the underground part, to the underwater part, to the sky part, to the island part, ...[/BCOLOR]
